Good Eats

For anyone visiting or living in DFW, TX, the Reata is a great restaurant for ambiance and fun. Last week my wife and I took some work colleagues from Hamburg, Germany to Sundance Square, Fort Worth, TX and dined at the Reata. Not only was the interior just plain fun Texas, but the food was scrumptiously southwestern and totally Texas. It reminded me of gourmet chuck wagon, if you can follow. The dishes were basically finds from the area prepared through grilling and techniques you might find on the trail. Nothing about this place was typical.

If you're in the area, give it a try. I highly recommend it.
