Bah Hum Bug and MoosleToe?

What do Scrooge and holiday Moose have in common? Well, aside from Christmas, not much else. However, two recent blog posts show how Christmas can affect individuals in quite different ways.

It is so hard to psych myself up for it every year. It’s sooooo much work. For such a relatively short period of time. I keep doing bargains with myself. Like, I won’t make you do the banister this year. Or, why don’t we wait till mom comes and make a fun family event of it.

I love this time of year and all of the fun hustle and bustle that goes with it. Okay, so I don't so much love the mess that decorating makes, but I love it when it is done and looking so simple, so easy, so perfectly perfect.

I'm definitely siding on the joys of Christmas side. Of course, my perspective is tainted by the ease in which I approach it. My wife spoils me with goodies, mostly decorates the home, arranges for pictures with Santa (see below) and generally handles the gift shopping for the family. I just sit back, enjoy the family, watch the movies, sing the carols and enjoy the season.

So whether you're a Moosle Toe Moose needing to check off entries on your list or just can't seem to get the gumption to do anything this season, relax: Christmas is about joy and love; let a little in.
