Charity Event a Success: Overwhelmingly So

My expectations for the charity event yesterday were to make the minimum $ that each executive would contribute to participate in the Fear Factor event. I was quite pleased that while each were prepared to individually pony up $250 for the National MS Society, the spectators chipped in to see some gross out stunts performed. From head shavings (there ended up being 3), eating a can of snuff (just Oreo cookies) to a smoothie of ice cream, clams and octopus tentacles, the stunts caught the attention of the crowd and they generously contributed.

The crowd pleaser, however, was the hijacked stunt of head shavings that caught our CEO's attention, raising contributions that far exceeded what was planned. The goodness of the participants and the generosity of the spectators pulled in over $7K and with a company match that will project a donation of over $10K.

Check out the pics for some testimony of just how much fun was had.
