Little House Suitable for Little Children?

Apparently not in Finland where the DVD release of the much-loved children's television series "Little House on the Prairie" has been given a "Banned for under-18's." Huh?

Apparently the series which ran from 1974 - 1983 has so much content that distributor Universal decided to forgo the 2 euro ($2.57) per minute assessment surcharge and landed the adult only rating. So while the series is popular in Finland and is still shown weekly on Sunday mornings by state-owned broadcaster YLE, purchase of the DVD series will need to be carded before forking over the cash for purchase.
